Christmas is now just over a week away and the odds of us having snow on the ground by then continue to decrease as we get closer.
A white Christmas is defined as having an inch of snow or more on the ground Christmas morning. Here in the Raccoon River Valley, around half of the Christmases between 1981 and 2010 were white.
Taking a look at the current forecast we may see some precipitation Monday, but with a high of 42 decrees predicted, it’s most likely just going to be rain.
