After closing the third quarter on 10-2 run, the ADM boys looked poised to go down to the wire with the Wildcats Tuesday night in Carlisle. Instead, the Tigers imploded and dropped their second straight with a 75-64 conference defeat.

ADM jumped out to a 16-11 lead in the first quarter, but the Wildcats came roaring back with a 22-13 second quarter to take a four-point halftime lead. It then looked as though Carlisle would take control in the third quarter when they opened the second half on a 18-8 run. But ADM stormed back with the aforementioned 10-2 run that narrowed its deficit to six at the end of three quarters.

Carlisle then put the game away within the first three minutes of the fourth quarter, when they put together a 13-2 run. The Tigers (2-9, 2-4 RRC) never got closer than the final nine-point margin the rest of the way.

For the second consecutive game, ADM’s defense was its main problem. Carlisle (4-5, 3-3 RRC) is the fifth opponent to go for over 70 points against the Tigers, who came into the contest allowing an average of 67.8 points per game.

Carlisle senior Josh Hagedorn finished with a game-high 20 pts, including four 3-pointers. Junior Noah Schmitt added 18 points before fouling out early in the fourth quarter.

ADM was paced by senior Joe Sloss, who put up his fourth straight game in double-figures with 12 points. Junior Jacob Hardy added 11.
