Greene County plays host to Heart of Iowa Activities Conference rival Gilbert tonight (Tues.) in the final home match this season for the Rams. The ninth grade and JV teams meet at 5 p.m. in the middle school gym in Jefferson with the varsity match to follow. The Rams started the season at 4-0, but stand 7-9 overall and 4-3 in league play. Greene County plays in the Pella tournament on Oct. 6 before finishing the HOIAC schedule in Jewell vs. South Hamilton on Monday, Oct. 8. The regular season concludes at the Johnston tournament on Oct. 13.
