Guthrie County Engineer Josh Sebern updated the Board of Supervisors on some major projects happening in the next five years at their meeting Tuesday. Two of the biggest projects involve some of the County’s roads. Major improvements totaling $8 million, will be made to Adair Road, beginning in the upcoming fiscal year. Sebern is currently talking to contractors about some of those improvements including an erosion control plan and possible new box culvert on the south end of the road. Additionally, Bayard Road will receive some fog sealing, which helps to keep the asphalt fresh. The sealing will be done using farm-to-market funds.
