The Perry boys soccer team is currently 4-2 and 2-0 in the Raccoon River Conference after Friday night’s shoot out loss to Des Moines Hoover 5-4.  The Bluejay offense could not find the back of the net late Friday but the defense continues to play well for Head Coach Gary Overla.

“Our defense has not given up an offensive goal in five of the last 6 games.  So, that is a good thing.  The offense will come around.  We’re right about where we were last year at this time so everything is on track and we’re feeling pretty good.”

The Jays will have some practice time this week with their next game coming Friday night at home with Grinnell.
