The ADM boys track and field team finished in last place in a field of eight teams at the Ballard Classic invite Tuesday evening in Huxley. Complete results are available across two pages (links): Page 1     Page 2

Sophomore Reece McLaughnlin lead the way for ADM, placing second in the long jump (six total competitors) at 18 feet, 11.5 inches. The only other even in which the Tigers had a top-3 finisher came in the shuttle hurdle relay. ADM placed third in that event (six teams) with a time of 1:07.53.

The Tigers will not send any athletes to the Drake Relays, which take place Thursday-Saturday in Des Moines. ADM’s next invite isn’t for more than a week, as the Tigers next head to Bondurant-Farrar on Thursday, April 30 for a clash with the host Blue Jays,  Interstate 35, Saydel, Southeast Warren Junior-Senior, West Central Valley and Des Moines Roosevelt.
