Laura Buffington of Morrisville, NC., was traveling in the 16000 block of Highway 44 when she slowed down for a vehicle that was turning in front of her and she was struck by a vehicle driven by Cindy Wasson of Urbandale.  Wasson swerved to miss Buffington’s vehicle but struck the front driver’s side fender.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Buffington’s vehicle estimated at $1000.00 and $1500.00 to Wasson’s.

Jose Alfredo Sanchez, age 24 of 2609 Otley, Perry was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of assault.
