After clearing the 6’4″ mark at a South Central Calhoun track meet, Coon Rapids-Bayard high jumper Sam Obert qualified for the Drake Relays. Obert jumped a height of 6’1″ at Drake Stadium in Des Moines on Thursday, good enough for 22nd place in the event. Obert was Coon Rapids-Bayard’s only athlete to garner an invite to the Drake Relays.
