Carlisle defeated Greene County in boys’ high school golf on Thursday northwest of Grand Junction at the Lakeside Golf Course by a 196-205 score. Meet medalist for the nine holes was Carlisle’s Nick Klier with a 44. The Rams had the runner-up medalist in Spencer Semke at 47. Other scores counting in the Rams’ team total were 48 by Alex Palmer, 52 from Joe Benson, and 58 for Chase Juergensen.

Ram coach Dave Destival said of the weather conditions, “It was a perfect night for golf.”
