It was another rainy week in the Raccoon River Valley.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry received just under three-quarters of an inch of rain this last week.  Guthrie Center was just over three-fourths of an inch and Jefferson received 1.17 inches of rain since our last report.

Half way through the month, Jefferson has received the most precipitation with 1.93 inches so far, Perry is right behind with 1.83 inches and Guthrie Center has seen 1.36 inches.

Normal monthly rainfall totals for May range between 4.54 and just over five inches.
