October 22 thru 23, 2012

 

10/22   At 11:15 am, a deputy investigated a harassment complaint in Scranton between a mother and son

At 2:12 pm, a deputy responded to remove a dead deer from Danger Hill but as he pulled up it was being removed by a secondary road worker

At 6:52 pm, a deputy assisted with an unruly 10 year old in Churdan

At 7:39 pm, a deputy checked careless driving westbound 220th from X Avenue but the vehicle was not located

At 8:11 pm, Kevin S. Lingner, 41, of Perry was booked into the county jail serving an OWI 2nd sentence

At 9:11 pm, a deputy investigated and cleared a trespass complaint in Grand Junction after assisting with getting some property returned

 

10/23   At 9:30 am, the sheriff investigated a harassment complaint in Scranton

At 12:24 pm, a deputy investigated a loud music complaint in Grand Junction

At 12:43 pm, a deputy was advised to check the report of a suspicious male going in and out of a cornfield at 140th Street and the bike trail. This was found to be in Guthrie County and they were advised

At 8:46 pm, a deputy checked the report of an injured deer along 220th east of J Avenue. The deputy located the deer which got up and ran away. While the deputy was there a semi struck and killed another deer crossing the highway

 

10/24   At 2:30 am, Shawn A. Ellsbury, 44, of Jefferson was booked into the county jail after an arrest by Jefferson police for Public Intoxication 2nd offense, he was later released after pleading guilty to the offense

At 6:51 am, a deputy checked an unattended vehicle two miles north of 220th on U Avenue which was later removed by the owner

At 5:15 pm, a deputy checked careless driving westbound 220th from Jefferson but did not locate the vehicle

At 6:45 pm, a deputy investigated a property damage crash at T Avenue and 120th Street. Amber N. Schulze, 26, of Lake City was southbound on T Avenue in a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt when she struck a disc blade that was on the roadway which punctured her transmission pan causing an estimated $2000 in damages

.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and   all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
