Perry Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson has been involved in many ribbon cuttings over the past several years, but the one scheduled for tomorrow morning will be a first.

“We’re going to do a ribbon cutting on-air. This is a very unique opportunity, KDLS is expanding into the FM side with 99.7 which means it’s oftentimes a stronger, clearer signal and you get the same content but farther away.  It’s just a great expansion and a great addition to all the great things that Raccoon Valley Radio has already done to this station.”

Wilson says it will be a fun and casual event and everyone is invited.

“There will be a brief presentation talking to you about how you can access this information, not only on the FM but the AM side, as well as online and streaming.  So you can’t get away.  This is your one stop shop for all news locally.”

The open house takes place at the Raccoon Valley Radio station in Perry tomorrow from 8-9:30am.  Light refreshments will be available and the ribbon cutting will take place at 9:00.
