Senior outfielders Colin Gavin and Logan Lemke were named 2nd Team All-Raccoon River Conference and sophomore second baseman Jack O’Brien was given honorable mention as the conference released the full all-conference lists Monday.
Gavin was the Tigers’ most consistent offensive threat all season, leading the team with a .292 batting average and .382 on-base percentage. He also picked up two doubles and drove in 17.
Lemke came on strong in the second half of the season, finishing with a slash line (batting average/on-base/slugging) of .244/.333/.317. He turned heads with his above-average play in right field, where he showcased a strong arm to the tune of eight outfield assists. He also compiled a 7.83 ERA in 19 2/3 innings on the mound.
O’Brien gave ADM fans a taste of the future at second base, where he was the starter all season. After initially being designated hit for in the beginning part of the year, O’Brien shook off a slow start at the plate to close out the second half of the season strong.
The sophomore hit .235/.316/.275 with two doubles, eight runs scored and 2 RBI.
