The Guthrie County Assessor’s office will be closed Friday, November 2 to enable staff members to travel to the SW District and receive ongoing training.  Guthrie County Chief Deputy Kris Arrasmith says the department is always being trained in one area or another throughout the year.  While attending this joint district session, they will discuss ways to plan for future policies that will directly affect Guthrie County.  This enables staff members to receive updated information on what’s happening in Iowa Arrasmith added.  Arrasmith apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the publics’ understanding.  They will resume regular office hours Monday, November 5.
