The Perry Bluejay football team enjoyed a solid pre-season scrimmage Friday night in Baxter against Collins Maxwell Baxter.  No score was kept as the teams ran the first, second and third teams at one another.  Head Coach Jason Olejniczak was relieved to get through the game without injuries and felt the experience was a positive one.

“Yeah, I think it was a great experience for our team and the kids.  Everything from getting on the bus on time, to riding the bus with expectations, and even just playing another team.  The kids enjoyed the experience and they really showed up to play.  They competed and played extremely hard and that was the best part for me.”

Be listening to the Raccoon Valley Radio Network all week as we preview Perry football and some of the individuals that Olejniczak will count on to get the job done.  Perry opens the season this Friday night against ADM at Dewey Field.
