The goal of any annual event is to improve it each year… and Jefferson did just that with their 33rd Bell Tower Festival last weekend.
“The feedback and the overall summary we’ve gotten so far is everybody was really positive about it” says Greene County Chamber and Development Executive Director Ken Paxton. “We obviously had excellent weather but we had a really large turnout. You know it’s a good thing when people stick around for a while” adds Paxton.
He says it was their goal make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.
“We’ve kind of grown it each of the last three or four years and this year I think was probably the biggest in probably 15 or 20 years” says Paxton.
The Bell Tower Committee is meeting next week to discuss how things went and start planning for 2013. Possible new features could include beer tastings and more midway games.
