Bondurant-Farrar defeated Perry 3-0 in Raccoon River Conference volleyball Tuesday.

The Lady Jays (7-4, 3-0)  needed only an hour in posting a 25-13, 25-13 and 25-11 wins.

Perry (7-12, 0-3) was their own worst enemy during several stretches in the match, with missed serves, an unusually high number of hitting errors and inconsistent passes.Schultz was exasperated by miscues she said the team had worked repeatedly on avoiding in recent practices.

Ellie Nielsen led the Jayettes with 4 kills while Taylor Lathrum added three kills and Johanna Diw and Grace Marburger two kills apiece. Lathrum and Victoria Hegstrom each had one block, with Sidney Vancil tallying eight assists.

Nielsen had seven digs, Marburger four and Diw three, with Vancil serving 6-of-6 with two aces. Lathrum was 7-of-8 and Marburger 6-of-6 behind the line, with Hegstron 4-5-2 and Nielsen 4-4-1.

Perry will travel to Carroll next week.
