More than 1,000 children dressed up as their favorite princess, superhero or movie character will walk up and down 2nd Street in Perry next week for the Chamber’s annual Spooktacular event.
Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson encourages everyone to take part in the annual tradition.
“This is open up to businesses all across the community. Please come, call me and we’ll get you set up even if you don’t have a location downtown, we want you down there. It’s a great event, there’s all kinds of crazy costumes and family fun. This is a very safe environment. We block off 2nd Street so we have those intersections manned, so it’s just a family friendly event.”
