As we’ve reported, a fundraiser featuring two southern gospel groups, The Ambassadors of Grace and Rick and Deb Boehm, will take place this weekend on behalf of Stuart’s LC Clinic. The event is organized by Pastor Dean Porter of Stuart’s New Beginnings Open Bible Church who says he’s focused on harboring the relationship between a mother and her new baby. “They provide for the mother to care for that child after they’re born. They have a pantry there to help the mother with diapers and things like that.”

The fundraiser is free to attend and donations will be collected to benefit LC Clinic. It takes place 6 p.m. Saturday at Stuart’s Johnson Family Funeral Home.
