The State Auditor’s office has released the 2014 audit report for the City of Churdan.
The City’s receipts total $478,711 for the fiscal year ending in June 30, 2014. Of those receipts, $195,873 were charges for service; $134,321 from operating grants, contributions and restricted interest; $108,539 were from property taxes; $35,461 from local option sales and services tax; $2,682 from other general receipts; $1,325 from capital grants, contributions and restricted interest and $510 from unrestricted interest on investments.
The City’s disbursements total $468,894. The breakdown includes $112,693 for public works, $168,034 for business type activities, $77,752 for culture and recreation and $55,469 for public safety.
