Dallas County Hospital has chosen their next leader.
Angela Mortoza has been selected to serve as the hospital’s Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1st.
Mortoza currently serves as the Adair County Hospital’s CEO in Greenfield.
Hospital Board of Trustees Chair Mary Laborde says it’s exciting to have Mortoza joing their team, “with her excellent experience and success with a critical access hospital and eagerness to work in the Perry community.”
Mortoza is from Perry and says she’s looking forward to returning.
“I’m very excited to join the Dallas County Hospital team and look forward to working with the staff, physicians and community to continue to grow the services offered to meet the healthcare needs of the community.”
Interim Chief Executive Officer Donna Vandehaar, who stepped in after former CEO Matt Willie resigned, will continue to serve in that position until Mortoza takes over next year.
