The ADM boys basketball team played like a championship caliber team last night as they took on the Pella Christian Eagles in a non conference match up last night. It was a back and fourth game that saw numerous lead changes throughout. No lead change was more crucial however, than when Eagles junior Levi Jungling scored the go ahead layup with under half a minute to go in the fourth quarter.
The Tigers were not able to come out with the victory as they simply ran out of time and fell to last years 3rd place state finisher, Pella Christian by the final score of 59-60.
Payton Conrad, Matt Larson, and transfer Tajen Ross led the ADM Tigers in scoring, although the majority of those points came in the first half.
The ADM boys will get another crack at it, as they square off against conference rival Winterset on Friday. Game tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm with pregame coverage tipping off at 7:00 pm on your home for ADM basketball, K107.9FM.
