Four children and one adult are injured after a two-vehicle accident occurred at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon in Perry.

Another individual, who Perry Police say was possibly intoxicated, was arrested while attempting to leave the scene of the wreck at Highway 141 and 8th Street.

The status of those injured remains unknown at this time. The Perry Police Department was assisted at the scene by Dallas County EMS and the Perry Fire Department.
