Committee members are preparing for this year’s annual Community Christmas Dinner in Perry.
The free event is open to all community members who want to come enjoy a holiday meal with their neighbors.
They’re prepared with enough people bringing salads and desserts for the event but anyone wanting to donate candy or cookies as “goody bags” for attendees is welcome to do so. The items can be dropped off any time after 4pm on Sunday December 23rd.
Volunteers are also needed to help with preparation on Christmas Eve and the actual event Christmas day. Those willing to help should contact Deb Miller at 465-3740.
The community dinner takes place at the Elks Lodge from 11am-2pm December 25th.
