Anyone interested in selling local food at this year’s Greene County farmers market is invited to the organizational meeting tomorrow.

Organizer Patti Edwardson says the meeting is for anyone who produces local foods for direct sale or for wholesale. She points out that there is a continually growing trend for residents wanting to buy meats, vegetables, eggs, fruits, baked goods and value-added products directly from the producer or farmer. Edwardson also welcomes any ideas or suggestions of how to expand and promote farmer’s market.
