Wrestlers from Panorama, Guthrie Center, West Central Valley and Nodaway Valley will be representing their schools at the upcoming state tournament in Des Moines.

To qualify, wrestlers had to finish in the top two spots of their weight class in Saturday’s district meet at Interstate 35 High School.

Qualifiers from Panorama include 120 pound George Appleseth, 145 pound Tyler Van Houten, 152 pound Gunner Grunsted and 285 pound Daniel Jensen.

Heading to state from Guthrie Center are 106 pound Blaine Beeler, 138 pound Logan Scheuermann and 220 pound Cade Suhr.

Nodaway Valley is sending 126 pound Ben Freese to the state meet and West Central Valley is sending 132 pound Tye Joint to state.

The state individual meet begins Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena.
