The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is offering a life guarding class this week.

Anyone at least 15 years of age that is interested in being a lifeguard is welcome to participate. The class takes place Friday from 5-9pm, Saturday from 8:30am-6:30pm and Sunday from 8:30am-6:30pm.

The cost is $115 for members and $135 for non-members.  Though once participants earn their certification, after six months of working at the McCreary Community Building they will be reimbursed for the cost of the class.
