It’s been a while since the Greene County High School track and field teams have had a meet. Two weeks to the day for the Greene County girls, and since April 1 for the boys. Panorama called off their scheduled coed meet on April 5 and that was the only meet either Greene County team scheduled last week. As a result, the coaches and athletes are especially looking forward to later today when they get back in competition at the Carroll Coed Relays. In addition to the host Tigers and Greene County, schools scheduled to take part at 4:30 p.m. at Carroll Athletic Field and the surrounding throwing areas include Audubon, IKM-Manning, Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto, Perry, and Woodward-Granger.

Boys’ coach Dean Lansman and girls’ coach Kelly Simpson are both looking forward to seeing what their athletes can do. Today’s meet is the first for the Greene County girls where team points will be kept.
