Richard Beeler oversees the Greene County High School weight room and he tells Raccoon Valley Radio it’s a busy place. “Each day after school probably 35 to 40 kids come through the weight room. These are students ranging from our elite athletes to students who just want to lift weights after school. The students are having lots of success and they’re putting up lots of weight, gaining athletic ability, and we’re also getting lots of good leadership out of all types of students, some I’d never thought of in that way. Not all have been key players in sports, but I’m really excited to see what they can do in the upcoming seasons.”
