Coach Dave Destival’s Greene County High School boys’ golf team was a 188-200 winner on Thursday over Saydel (Des Moines) at Lakeside Golf Course northwest of Grand Junction. The score was a nine hole low for the Rams and Greene County was led by sophomore Elijah Block at 44. Ben Wilkins, Isaiah Yoder, and Britton Gallagher each shot 48 to round out the Rams’ scoring. Tyler Clark and Brett Guy both shot 48 to lead the Eagles.

The action took place under wet conditions with light drizzle throughout following well over an inch of rain, and temperatures did not exceed the mid 50’s.

The Rams play today in Dayton at the Southeast Valley tournament.
