The Perry City Council will meet in regular session tonight.
Items on the agenda include a presentation from the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau, a public hearing in regards to the fiscal year 2016 budget amendment, followed by approval, along with approval of the third pay request for the Highway 144 and Willis Avenue intersection improvement project and approval on future operation of the caboose in Caboose Park.
The Council will then consider approving changes to street lighting, renewing a cleaning services agreement and approving a mowing agreement with the Perry Water Works. Finally the Council will approve the disposal of abandoned and unused property, set a public hearing in regards to the proposed urban revitalization plan and consider approving support of a USDA rural development grant application.
The meeting takes place at 6pm in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
