The 2025 Coat Giveaway for Dallas County and surrounding rural areas will
be held Saturday, October 11th, from 9:00 to 11:00, at Adel First Christian
Church, located at the corner of Highway 169 and Rapids Street. In
partnership with Adel Rotary, St. John’s Knights of Columbus, Adel First
Christian Church, and the Adel Women’s Club, we have over 250 new coats,
hats, and mittens in sizes infant to adult, as well as 100 used coats. In
addition, the Clothes Closet will be open with gently used clothing, shoes,
and jackets in all sizes. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. EVERYTHING IS FREE.
