BRAG 2026 Returns to Greene
County!
Jefferson, Iowa — Cyclists of all
experience levels are invited to
take part in BRAG 2026, Bike
Ride Around Greene County, for
a full day of scenic riding, fresh
air, and small-town hospitality.
New this year, we’re proud
to offer FREE registration
for all Veterans as a small
thank you for their service.
The ride begins at the Welcome
Center (Thomas Jefferson
Gardens) at 9:30 AM in Jefferson
and features multiple rest stops
throughout the county. A few of
the stops will be at local
restaurants, including 209 Main
and 30 Yard Line, with the ride
wrapping up at The Public
House, giving riders the chance
to grab a drink or order some
food along the route.
The 2026 route includes:
• Jefferson to Spring Lake Park (9 miles)
• Spring Lake to 209 Main in Paton (8.75 miles)
• Paton to Dana (4.86 miles)
• Dana to 30 Yard Line in Grand Junction (5.46 miles)
• Grand Junction to The Public House in Jefferson (8.7 miles)
Riders choosing the gravel route will travel one mile east of Paton before turning south onto
gravel. The route connects to the Dana rest stop and continues on gravel south toward Grand
Junction, offering an added challenge and variety for those looking to mix pavement with rural
terrain.
