We sure like parades! Perry, Iowa is home to FOUR annual community parades,
but we’ve been missing out on celebrating the quirkiest one… let’s make
it official this year by starting a new tradition: join us for the BRR
Bicycle Parade!
For nearly 50 years, Perry’s Annual Bike Ride to Rippey has taken place –
always on the first Saturday in February – regardless of weather: BRR! It’s
the name and usual sentiment for the beloved winter bike ride that has
become an annual tradition for thousands of bike riders since 1978!
The Group Start at 10am is a sight to see and this year we’re inviting
community members to come out to enjoy the BRR Bicycle Parade! Join in the
fun by lining the streets of the BRR ride route out of town to cheer on
riders as they make their way to Rippey! Bells and whistles encouraged!
Start: Corner of Willis Avenue & 2nd Street
