On Saturday, December 6, the Greene County Iowa Genealogical Society will be meeting in the basement meeting room of the Jefferson Public Library. We will go over the see records at Slininger-Schroeder funeral home, if they are available. Members are bring items for donation to the food pantry and snacks to share as we discuss family Christmases past and current. We will also prepare our annual newsletter for mailing. Our meeting room and reference library is handicapped accessible. It is staffed Wednesday 1 – 3 pm and Saturday 9 – 11 am or by appointment. Members have access anytime during library hours.
