The Greene County Genealogical Society will hold their monthly meeting next Saturday.  Cindy Wiggins will show part 2 of the interesting History Channel DVD, “America: A Story of Us” followed by the business meeting.  The meeting takes place in the basement of the Jefferson Public Library beginning at 10am.  A volunteer will also be available to assist with research questions from 9-10.

Members are also reminded it’s time to get genealogy entries planned and organized for the Greene County Fair open class exhibit.  A list can be picked up at the extension office and anyone with questions can call Arlene Johnson at 386-4531.
