The 2012 Varsity and Junior Varsity Lady Tigers volleyball teams began play yesterday afternoon with matches at Newton High School, scores will be updated tomorrow morning. They’ll be in action this Thursday as well as they travel to Dallas Center Grimes to meet the Lady Mustangs.

The Varsity returns Seniors Felt Mackenzie, Emily Hicks, Allison Gottschalk and Gavin. Rounding out the squad are Juniors Torrie Hook, Haley Schepers and Madison Powers as well as Sophomores Marissa Felt, Abigal Merchman and Karina Dufoe and Freshman Brennan Hook.

Last years squad finished 22-14 & 9-1 in conference action. The Lady Tigers are coached by Mary Beth Scott and assisted by Stephanie Bidney and Chariry Miller.
