Jefferson Matters: Main Street is hosting a business improvement session and public meeting today.

Main Street Iowa business consultant Jim Thompson will be in town to teach a “Business Improvement 101” session from 1:30-3pm at the First Presbyterian Church.

This evening, all community members are invited to attend a public meeting to discuss the business improvement aspects of the local Main Street Program.

Program Director Alan Robinson says “we encourage everyone to be on hand for this informative presentation from a key staff member of Main Street Iowa”.

The meeting will begin at 5pm with social time and a light dinner of chili and cornbread.  The presentation will take place from 5:30-7pm, also at the First Presbyterian Church.
