The Perry Public Library is preparing for a new program what will start up later this month.
All second through fourth grade students and their parents are invited to an informational meeting to learn about the new Book Scouts program. Participants will read a variety of library books at home on their own and receive incentives such as stickers and prizes for their efforts.
The program is free and geared toward both kids who like to read and those who want to improve their reading skills.
The informational meeting takes place Thursday September 27th at 6:30pm in the library Community Room.
