With Christmas right around the corner, many city and county offices in Jefferson have adjusted their hours for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

All the Greene County offices and the state clerk of court’s office will be closed all day on Monday and Tuesday.  The Jefferson Public Library will also be closed during those two days.

The Jefferson city offices, city hall and the chamber will be open until noon on Monday and will be closed all day on Tuesday.  The Greene County Community Center will be open on Christmas Eve day until 3pm and are then closed on Christmas.

Next week In Jefferson, on Monday, Christmas Eve,  garbage route will still be picked up on Monday.  The Tuesday route will be picked up Wednesday, the Wednesday route will be picked up Thursday and the Thursday route will be picked up on Friday.
