The Greene County High School wrestling team has its final dual meets of the 2012-13 season tonight (Thurs.). The Rams go to Monroe to face three Heart of Iowa Activities Conference opponents in PCM, North Polk (Alleman), and South Hamilton (Jewell). Some milestones for the wrestlers are on the line tonight and you can hear all the play-by-play on KGRA, 98.9 FM with coverage at 5:15 p.m. and the first match at 5:30 p.m. Greene County is 6=0 in HOIAC dual meets and has 17 conference victories in a row dating back to the 2011-12 season. The Rams will win a second conference dual meet title if they win all three meets and they will also set a record for a Jefferson-based program for most dual meet wins in a season if they win at least twice. The Rams are 16-4 overall and 17 is the most dual meet wins a Ram team has ever recorded.

Greene County won the Heart of Iowa Conference tournament last Saturday at Saydel High School by 50 points over the second place team and will favored in all three dual meets in Monroe.
