The ADM girls’ basketball team gets a second crack at the Ballard Bombers on Tuesday, February 5th, in Huxley. The first time around Ballard won in a defensive battle by a score of 39-31.
In that game leading scoring for Ballard Katie Ahrenholtz led the way with 17 points, but she also got solid contributions from teammates Gabie Doud who had 9 points and Abby McGee with 8. While Ballard was held to Single Digit Quarters for the first and third, a 15-point 2nd quarter and 13-point 4th quarter were the difference as Ballard trailed going into the 4th quarter but outscored ADM 13-3 in the final 8 minutes.
ADM was led in scoring the first time around with 13 points from Haley Canney off the bench, 8 points from freshman Molly Jacobsen and 4 from junior Kendra Chapman. The rematch begins with the Lincoln Savings Bank Pregame Show at 5:45 PM, tip-off at 6 o’clock, on 107.9, K-107.
