A good crowd turned out for Rainbow International’s inaugural Chili-Geddon event last week.

Perry Chamber Executive Director Bob Wilson was one of the event’s judges and says it was a very successful event with good food and good company.

Wilson says icing on the cake is that the event raised about $2,300 for the Perry Volunteer Fire Department and was a great opportunity for community members to socialize and support their neighbors.

Rainbow International says they’re already planning on making this an annual event and are looking forward to next year.
