The Greene County High School golf teams were in action on Thursday. The girls hosted Roland-Story (Story City) at The Hill west of Grand Junction with the Norsemen winning 202-244. R-S had both the medalist and runner-up in Danielle Ratallick (45) and Cassie Shadlow (51). Senior Hannah Ober had the low score for the Rams with a 57.

The Greene County boys were in a triangular at the Woodlyn Hills course at Ankeny. Saydel (Des Moines) uses Woodlyn Hills as its home course and the Eagles won the meet with 178 strokes. The Rams and CMB (Baxter) each shot 185 with Greene County taking second place by virtue of the score by number five golfer Blake Renwanz, who shot 49. The Rams were led by junior Wesley Tipton at 43 with senior Alex Gordon next at 44.
