The Perry Jayette softball team fell to 6th ranked Ballard Thursday night in Huxley 3-0.  The Jayettes out hit Ballard 5-4 but made two costly base running mistakes which took them out of a scoring opportunity.  Ballard led 1-0 in the bottom of the 5th inning when MacKenzie Ihle belted a two run home run to give the Bombers a 3-0 lead.  Perry’s Emma Olenjzack was solid inside the circle, allowing only 4 hits and 3 runs to a team averaging around 7 runs per game.
