Hopefully the weather will stay dry enough for a while that area roadways will be able to dry up and crews can get out and perform maintenance.

Dallas County Engineer Jim George says his crews haven’t been able to do much on the secondary roads lately since it has been so wet, but when they are out working on things it’s important for drivers to be extra alert.  He says it’s crucial for drivers to obey the posted signs and give crews a break by approaching at appropriate speeds and distances.

George says it will be a relatively quiet construction year in Dallas County with no major projects planned, at least nothing like last year’s P-58 project.
