There are two public meetings left for Dallas County residents to get information before the August special referendum vote.

Residents will vote for or against the issuance of $16.8 million in general obligation bonds to pay for a new county administrative and law enforcement center.

The Board of Supervisors and other county officials will be at the Waukee School District office tonight at 7pm to share information on the project and its impact on residents.

The final meeting takes place next Tuesday at 7pm in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.

All residents are encouraged to attend.  Ballots can be cast now at the Auditor’s office and the election itself takes place Tuesday August 6th.
