The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary is selling raffle tickets for its annual quilt raffle.

This year’s quilt is called the “Wedding Quilt”  The 90-inch by 90-inch quilt was pieced together by Rita Schmitt, bound by Joyce Clark and hand-quilted by Heartfelt Quilts in Scranton.

It is on display now by the Gift Garden at the medical center in Jefferson.

Community Relations Director Carla Offenburger says last year’s raffle raised $746 and the pattern was themed “Burst of Flowers”.

You can purchase the tickets from the gift shop or anyone with the Auxiliary.  Tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5.

The drawing will be on October 19th at the Table Talk event.

All proceeds will go towards future equipment purchases for the hospital.
