The Perry Jayette softball team placed 4 members on the 2013 Raccoon River Conference All Conference team.  Junior Julie Dew and eighth grader Emma Olenjzack were second team honorees while Linsey Kunch and Frankie Eklund were named to the Honorable Mention list.  Dew led the Jayettes with a 370 average and 3 home runs and 20 rbi’s along with a team high 13 doubles.  Olenjzack shined in the post season allowing only 3 earned runs in 14 innings pitched.  She finished the season 11-18 with a 4.92 ERA and 127 strikeouts in her first full year of varsity action.  Eklund batted 360 with 2 home runs and 19 RBI’s and the lead off batter Kunch hit 330 with a team high 23 runs scored to go along with 2 home runs and 17 rbi’s.
