ADMThe first two games of every football season are important for player evaluation and shaking off the rust of a long off-season.

But game three has a little added value: it’s the start of district play.

ADM head coach Mike Whisner says his players are excited to get into the heart of their schedule tonight, as the Tigers play host to the Glenwood Rams.

Glenwood enters tonight’s contest 2-0, having throttled their first two opponents by a combined score of 81 to 32. The Rams feature a unique offensive attack based on speed…a lot of speed.

Whisner says his players’ ability to contain that speed will be crucial tonight.

“We run against them in track at the state meet and that type of thing so I know they’re fast athletes.  We’ve had close games with them over the years when we’ve gone over and played there or they’ve come here.  So, I think our kids are up to the task, and we’ll see what happens when it all washes out.”

ADM rode the shoulders of Jordan Grove and his 300 plus yards on the ground to a 21-14 win at Glenwood last season.  See if the likes of Grant Goeden and Tate Jensen can carry ADM to another victory tonight, as the Tigers looks to start off 1-0 in district play and move to 2-1 on the year.

Tune in to 107.9 FM, KKRF, for pregame at 7 o’clock.  Kick-off will follow at 7:30.
